M & E Electrical love working close to base, so when we got a call from The R.I.V.A Project in Sheffield we couldn’t wait to help them.

If you haven’t heard about The R.I.V.A Project then what rock have you been hiding under. The R.I.V.A Project is a charity that run Recreational, Imaginative, Vocational, Activities for people with disabilities. Its a great charity and they do a lot for the local community around the Wisewood area in Sheffield.

When the R.I.V.A Project first started a few years ago their building had been servilely damaged by vandalism. The electrics had also been vandalised, But after the all clear from Sheffield City Council they could open their doors and start helping the community
The R.I.V.A Project rang and asked us if we could reconnect numerous sockets in there snug room, connect a new electric oven and add a couple of additional sockets to their kitchen area. M & E Electrical were happy to oblige and carried out the work. Before the new sockets where connected they was using extension leads to power numerous appliances. Now the work has been carried out we can say good bye to the horrible extension leads and use the much safer, hard wired electrical sockets.

The R.I.V.A Project also has a great cafe that sells delicious home made cakes and a variety of drinks. They also host a number of events at the centre too and have tons of great items to sell. Be sure to call in for a cup of coffee and to browse the items they have for sale. Call in to:
